About the Council
The Interspecies Council has been established at the request of Gaia, the essence of the planet herself. Communications on this blog are intended to share information from Gaia or one of her children, and to provide a forum for discussion. The Council's mission is to promote communication, cooperation and respect among all forms of life in order to ensure the continuation and enhancement of all life on the planet. The Council honors the values of: cooperation, partnership, respect, honor, love, joy and knowing that all are teachers and all are students.

Gaia has stated that she (the earth) does not need ‘saving’. Rather, she invites us to deepen our relationship with her and all her children. She asks that we join together, sharing ancient wisdom and modern ingenuity to create ways to restore balance and to live in harmony with the planet and with each other.

The Council is comprised of representatives from all forms of life, including: the planet herself, the moon, each race of human, the animal kingdom, the plant kingdom, the sky dwellers, the ocean’s children, and the elements of fire, air, metal, earth, water. Further, each member holds equal authority within the council. Non-human members will communicate with human representatives during specific meditation sessions, and they will post the comments and messages received on this blog.

When given a specific assignment or project from Gaia, the council will ask what is needed and desired to restore or maintain balance, and also ask how to best implement the tasks suggested. Action plans will be established based on the answers and information given.This blog is also to be used to ask questions regarding how to deepen one's relationship with the planet and her children, and to ask Gaia or another aspect of the planet (whales, trees, etc.) specific questions. The human representatives of these beings will provide their reply.

The image at the top of the page represents the essence of the Interspecies Council. The dark green background represents the web of life on the planet. The shape of the circle and its four quadrants represents the scientific symbol for the planet earth. The color of each quadrant represents a race of humanity, each with its unique wisdom, strength and world view. The light blue is for the air, darker blue for the waters of the earth, the purple for Spirit. The white circle embraces the Oneness of all life. The central geometry is the Seed of Life, a powerful symbol for creation.We welcome you to this virtual gathering place.
